2023 Staff Retreat
You are invited to participate in the 2023 Winter Staff Retreat.
Details:
- Lunch – 12:00-12:45 p.m.: Sayles Cafe
- Welcome & Presentation – 1:00-4:00 p.m.: Severance, Great Hall
- Staff will kick off the event by sharing how the topic of community & belonging will help us think about the work we will do to help implement value #1, Community of Carleton's 2033 strategic plan.

A little bit about the topic to get you excited...
Does it seem like the world of work is creating this constant swirl and overwhelm? Looking back over the last couple of years you’ve probably focused more on surviving (rather than thriving). Feeling the strain of overwhelm can get easier when we focus on creating community and a sense of belonging. There’s no denying that feeling safe, included and a sense of belonging are core human needs. This workshop invites you to roll-up your sleeves, engage in discussions and action planning so that you can create this sense of belonging that’s vital to your success – and the success of your students.
