For over 25 years, Bard Graduate Center (BGC) has been training the next generation of curators, researchers, and museum professionals. Their MA/PhD program offers a broad exploration of history through its material traces, drawing on methodologies and approaches from art history, anthropology, cultural history, archaeology, and philosophy.

Their students come from diverse academic backgrounds, including art history, anthropology, religious studies, history, and classics. The two-year MA program includes internship opportunities at cultural institutions all over the world as well as a funded international study trip.

Graduates of BGC go on to a range of professional careers in the museum world and beyond, and many continue their research at highly competitive doctoral programs. Nearly 90% of their MA students receive financial aid to help with the cost of their graduate education.

Learn more about opportunities at BGC from Director of Admissions, Keith Condon at the informational table.
